On behalf or our client we are searching for a highly motivated Norway Accounting Lead to focus on the accounting in Norway. The position will be based in the Nordic Head Office in Stockholm City and is a temporary position for approx. 14 month. Candidates must possess a good knowledge of finance & accounting and enjoy working in a challenging international environment.

Arbetsbeskrivning
- Ensure integrity of all G/L accounting activities while maintaining proper controls
- Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
- Responsible for the statutory accounting and reporting for Norway
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, (Norwegian GAAP and IFRS)
- Responsible for tax compliance, VAT reporting and account reconciliations
- Providing support and guidance to Balance Sheet, Income and Cash Flow Statements
- Maintenance and development of accounting policies and guidelines
- Contact person regarding accounting issues towards the Norwegian business

Vem söker vi?
- University degree in accounting, finance or business administration
- 5+ years experience from hands-on accounting
- Good knowledge of Norwegian and International accounting practices (Norwegian GAAP and IFRS)
- Experience working in an international environment
- Desire and ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Team player with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to communicate with all levels
- Knowledge and experience with a major ERP system, Oracle preferred
- Excellent English and Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing
- Understanding of Norwegian is a plus
